Participation in GRC Image Science

Ivo has been participating in the Gordon Research Conference on Image Science last week. He has served with Chrysanthe Preza, University of Memphis as a discussion leader for the session “AI and Image Science”. It was an amazing program and a very good experience.

Syed Muhammad Kazim won the ISCS’25 best poster award

Welcome new group members Amir Peiraviminaei und Jannis Maron!

Amir joins from TU Munich and has a background in scientific computing and numerical mathematics, whereas Jannis did his MSc. in Siegen and is knowledgeable in machine learning applied to visual computing. We are going to look at tracking techniques in microscopic imaging contexts.
